We all could use a little help from time to time. A Franciscan tradition is to pick a saint for the year, and praying for this saint to assist you throughout the rough times and in celebrating the good times. But really the saint picks you. It’s fun to see who you get and what they are saint of. My saint is St. Maurice and I found it interesting to learn more about him. He was a leader in an army that was ordered to attack Christians, he refused and had his whole army martyred. He is saint of leaders, soldiers, kingdoms, cramps, gout etc.

I have listed a great web site below for you to pick your saint. It was made by Jennifer  Fulwiler who is in need of some serious prayer right now, so please when you pick your saint and have them pray for you, ask them to also heal Jennifer. ( you can also through me in the mix too : ) ) May 2013 be an incredible year for us all !

Thank you, this is so cool. Saint John of Kanty will be hearing from me for the year!
