During Lent, I thought I would share some spiritual reading that I and others have benefited from over the years. I hope that they aid in bringing you deeper into relationship with your heavenly Father during this special time carved out on our liturgical calendar.

1) Jesus Calling by Sarah Young, this daily devotional speaks to your heart as our Savior whispers his intimate message for you each day.

2) Francis: The Journey and the Dream by Murray Bodo, for the Franciscan in everyone this book brings Francis life into modern understanding and inspires all to dream and manifest that dream throughout their spiritual journey.

3) The Prayer of Mary: Living the Surrendered Life by Keith Fournier and Lela Gilbert, this book is an intimate exploration of the life of Mary. Beautiful and inspiring.







4) Saints off the Pedestal: Real Saints for Real People, by Amanda Roberts, this book gives you an inside look of the daily struggles some of the saints had with their faith and how they endured.









5)streams in the desert Streams in the Desert, by L.B. Cowman, is a 366 daily devotional that is deeply moving and at times poetic.





6) Heaven is for real,by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent, is a real life account of life after death experienced by a little boy.
