I found it fascinating, that on Holy Saturday, a day that we are supposed to be “still” waiting in anticipation for the resurrection the wind was “INSANE” in New Jersey. It only goes to show that when we are still and listening God has a lot to say. The winds were so fierce it kicked back debris that hurt.  I bet it was like that after Jesus death on the cross until His resurrection.  I will go as far as to say, that the Holy Spirit was whipping everyone into His awakening. The awakening and true reality that Jesus Christ is Lord of all !!! Can you imagine what storms inside of their very being and psyche they must have faced. Peter and poor Judas, no wonder he took to hanging himself. I imagine the wind and sky were a force to bring you to
Actually, Good Friday should bring us all there. As sinners unable to redeem ourselves fully we should all rejoice in the Resurrection and stop living Good Friday. If we truly understand what Jesus did for us wouldn’t every day be Easter? My prayer for each of you and myself, this Easter of 2015 is that we recognize the gift before us and that we unwrap it and treasure it with JOY!
