Inspired today by the Solemnity of Mary, The Holy Mother of God, the first day of the new year, and the Jubilee Year of Mercy I felt the need to pray. If I have left anything out of my prayer that you feel is important to you, and the world, please, add it below in the comment section. This way, in complete unity our prayers will hold the power to change the world.

Dear Lord, we pray for this New Year of 2016 to be a year of peace for our Country, our Government, and our homes. We pray that every child is rescued and protected from sexual abuse, physical abuse, verbal abuse and that their basic needs are met always. That every one has food to eat, clean water to drink and shelter from the elements. We pray for families struggling with grief, divorce, or separation as well as families that are suffering through addictions, mental illness, depression, and severe disease or injuries not having tomorrow promised to them. For those caring for their handicap children and foster children and for those that have lost faith and encouragement to continue moving forward in a positive way in their lives. May we see the resurrection and the restoration of the family this special Jubilee Year of Mercy and may our world be heaven on Earth. We ask this through Christ our Lord. AMEN!!

    Dear Dawn,

Your prayer was beautiful and so needed in today’s world. I would like to add a prayer for persecuted Christians that they may be delivered from evil, that they would have victory over their enemies, that through their example they will bring many souls to the love of Jesus, and that the Lord would give them the grace and strength to persevere to the end,
