Dawn lives at the Jersey Shore, where she enjoys the sea and the mountains. She is married with three children and two Grandchildren. In 1999, Dawn entered formation to the Secular Franciscan Order and professed a member in 2002. She has served in many Franciscan leadership roles at local, regional, and National levels.
In 2007, she began Formation for Lay Ecclesial Ministry, studying Theology and Scripture for three years at Georgian Court University as well as Diocesan training. Commissioned a Lay Ecclesial Minister in 2010 with certificates in Pastoral Care, Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry & Catechesis. She has volunteered and worked at Churches as Pastoral Associate for close to 20 years. She also worked as the NJ Director of Downey Side Adoption Agency and continues as a caseworker for the agency today placing children out of the Foster Care system into loving forever families.
She is a member of the National Association of Lay Ministry and for a time served as a leader on their Advocacy Committee and a writing contributor to their newsletter.
